WEEKEND ROUND-UP

On Saturday the 1st team hosted current league leaders Christchurch at Barlow's Park and both teams fought out a competitive and very entertaining 0-0 draw. We posed a far greater goal threat on the day and due to a combination of good defending and excellent goalkeeping resulted in us having to settle for a point - I think our visitors would agree that they were happy to leave with a share of the points. The only downside in an excellent team performance was the sending off of midfielder Scott Kinge after he received his second yellow five minutes from the end.
