Chairman's End of Season Statement

Well here we are, another season has come to an end. A season of achievements both on and off the field; finishing eighth in the Sydenhams Wessex Premier Division at the first time of asking, completing our mandatory FA Ground Grading requirements on time and our young Reserve side lifting the North Hants Intermediate Cup.

As a club, we set ourselves several targets at the beginning of the season; to be progressive - particularly with youth development, to be financially stable and to display a realistic degree of ambition. The above achievements indicate that we have been true to those targets.

A massive thank you must go to First Team Manager Danny Dolan and all our management teams for their hard work, dedication and professionalism during the season. A massive well done to all our players for delivering our successes on the field and finally, a heartfelt thanks to our supporters, volunteers and sponsors as without your backing we wouldn't have been able to make the journey to where we are today.

As a result, we end this season in a great place, ready to build and push on from here next season. But there is no complacency, just a quiet confidence and determination across the club that will be crucial to our success in the next year.

We have a committed group of people running this club; we finished in a very good league position this year and that, combined with progression in the cups, is a realistic aspiration for next season. We have also set ourselves further infrastructure improvement targets for the next year.

But we cannot achieve all this without your help. Without you, the supporters, volunteers and sponsors, this club would cease to exist. Back us, back the manager and coaching staff, back the players because, together, we can achieve great things for this club and the community.

I appreciate that I haven't mentioned everyone by name, but my sincere thanks go out to everyone involved with the club, in whatever capacity, and I hope you all enjoy a great summer break before we have to do it all again.
