Back on the road - Guildford City Match Preview
The league campaign continues Saturday after last weeks postponement in memory of Her Majesty, Queen Elizibeth II.
The first team travel to Surrey to take on a Guildford City side with some mixed results from the first few games of the season. A win in the FA Cup was followed by 3 league defeats, albeit to clubs looking to gain promotion to step 4.
Our hosts on Saturday go into the tie off the back of 2 home wins while we enter our 6th league fixture with 5 wins from 6 in all competitions.
Ahead of the game, we caught up with Joint manager Ben Dillon.
'It'll be a tough game away at Guildford. Having 2 games called off in the last week means we are itching to get back out on the pitch.
We had a really good training session on Wednesday, something we haven't had recently due to pur busy schedule. Although having 2 games off isn't great, I feel our preparation for this week has been better.'
Talking about the squad, Dillon is confident that the 16 travelling to Guildford will put us in the best position to pick up maximum points.
'With the break we've had, we've managed to get a few players back from injury but we have had to make some big decisions to make on who travels with the squad on Saturday, so hopefully we've made the correct decisions'
'We know Guildford will be a tough place to go and they are starting to hit some form so we will need to be at our best to come back to Barlows Park with all 3 points.'
The match is being played at The Guildford Spectrum (GU1 1UP) with the normal kick off time of 15:00
