Football Returns for 2023
Tadley-Calleva travel to Sheerwater FC's Eastwood Centre tomorrow in a Combined Counties South fixture that will kick start the new year.
Tadley come into the fixture without playing a game in over a month due to the adverse weather that has been experienced in the past few weeks. The nature of this has allowed joint managers Ben Dillon & Joe Lawler to get the squad together to train intensly over the Christmas period in prepartation for the New Year return.
The hosts experienced a turbulant last couple of months of 2022 with both the Chairman & management team leaving the Woking based club. Fortunes may be changing however as Mondays bank holiday fixture saw The Sheers pick up only their third win of the season, putting 4 goals past Frimley Green.
Dillon told us earlier today that fresh faces, new management and confidence at the Eastwood Centre will make the game difficult for Tadley tomorrow however he is confident that the strong travelling squad can bring all 3 points back to Barlows Park.
Tadley will be with a number of players tomorrow due to both injury & suspension respectively however are pleased to welcome defender Brad Neal back into the side after unavailabilit last time out. The squad will also be bolstered by new signing Rudy Knott (previously of Eastleigh) and the returning Shamar Pettit from Fleet Town.
Updates will be posted via Twitter from kick off at 15:00.
