Tadley-Calleva Announce Under 23 Team

Tadley-Calleva have today announced the formation of an Under 23's squad which will provide a direct pathway to senior football.

Managed by Matt Moore, with assistance from last seasons under 18's manager Nigel Parry, the Under 23's will be provisionaly competing in a newly formed Combined Counties Under 23 division consisting of many other high level development squads.

With access to all aspects of the football club, squad members will be coached by high level coaches, including a UEFA B licensed coach & physiotherapy sessions to ensure full match fitness throughout the season.

Upon speaking to Nigel, he stated that their goal is to 'build on the Under 18's squad from the last two seasons & develop a clear pathway for players to reach the first team squad'

Last season we saw both Chris Parry & Ollie Bell feature in first team fixtures.

Nigel added ' The squad is being enhanced with players who have the ability, and the ambition, to compete for a first team place. We will also look to make use of senior squad members to assist in the U23's education'

Training & open trials for the under 23's will take place at The Vyne 4g, Basingstoke, RG21 5PB at 18:00 on Thursday 4th July 2024.
